Helpful Information to Plan Your Visit...

Is there parking?

Unfortunately we do not have our own parking. The lot behind the restaurant is not for Korai Kitchen and those parked there will have their cars towed. (Yikes!) Luckily there is always street parking available nearby, particularly on Summit Avenue, Cottage Street, and Van Reipen Avenue. There is also a paid parking lot right by the Journal Square Path:

When's the best time to arrive?

For lunch, please arrive no later than 3 pm if you wish to dine in. This is because we have to close exactly at 4pm in order to get ready to reopen for dinner at 6 pm. Those arriving during the last hour of lunch service will only be able to carry out. For dinner service, it is better to come on the earlier side, especially during the weekends, as some items may run out towards close. We generally don't like to seat later than an hour before dinner's end. Hours for lunch and dinner are as follows: LUNCH Tuesday- Sunday 12 PM - 4PM DINNER Tuesday- Thursday, Sunday 6 PM - 9PM Friday- Saturday 6 PM - 9:30 PM CLOSED ON MONDAYS

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, we do, including AMEX!

Can I take public transportation to your restaurant?

YES! We are super close to the Journal Square PATH Station.

Do you have high chairs for small children?

We do!

Is there room for our stroller?

Our restaurant is tiny, so it may be difficult to fit a large stroller next to your table. We'll of couse do our best to accommodate our littlest guests, but you may be more comfortable with a foldable stroller and one of our high-chairs. Some guests find it preferrable to bring their tiny ones in car seats, which can then be placed on one of our chairs.

Are you BYOB?

Yes! Feel free to bring either beer or wine.

Can I eat with my hands there?

Absolutely! We think that's the best way to eat Bangladeshi food. And besides, all the cool kids are doing it.
