Our 8-course, 3-hour Dawat meal is $95 per person + tax and gratuity. We pack all leftovers from the dinner, and nearly all guests leave with a bag of food!

That will depend on whatever Amma feels moved to make that night. We do not reveal the menu in advance, so it’s always a surprise! Please contact us ahead of your reservation at hello@koraikitchen.com in case there are any food allergies or dietary restrictions the kitchen must be aware of.

Amma's homemade mango lassi is included in the Dawat price! Soft drinks will be available for purchase at an additional cost.

The purpose of our Dawat dinner series is to share a selection of traditional Bangladeshi dishes that represent the lived experiences and memories of Chef and owner Nur-E Gulshan Rahman. In order to remain true to this culinary heritage, we are unfortunately not able to offer a vegan or vegetarian tasting menu at this time. Given that Bangladesh is known as "the land of rivers" and that seafood is a staple in the Bangladeshi diet, we are happy to offer a pescatarian version of Amma's Dawat menu. Please note that we only serve imported Bangladeshi fish and that all fish will be served bone-in. Our seafood selections have a lot of bones (more flavor, we say!) and require care and caution when eating.

Though there are no substitutions on Amma's menu for the night, we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and/ or food allergies. Please email hello@koraikitchen.com in advance for menu accommodations.

Yes, Amma's Dawats begin at 8 PM sharp! This is an intimate gathering, so all tables will be seated and served at the same time. Amma says don't be late!

We do not have a parking lot, so most of our guests use street parking. Please note that parking in Journal Square can take a little time. We recommend giving yourself at least 20 minutes to find a spot!

We have been averaging between 3 - 3.5 hours for guests to experience and enjoy all of Amma's courses. Amma's Dawat is a marathon, not a sprint!

Though we love our littlest guests, Amma's Dawat is NOT for younger diners. This dinner is for guests 18 and older.

Yes, we are! Feel free to bring beer and/ or wine. 🍻🍷

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation, and there will be no charge. Cancellations occurring within 12 hours of the reservation time will be charged $50 per/person.
